The Art of  Tantra

25 – 31st of May 2026

Beautiful being,

We are looking forward to having you join us for the Art of Tantra – Amara Valley Retreat! You are welcome to arrive Monday the 25th of May between 15:00 and 16:00 in the afternoon. Check out is after lunch on the 31st of May from the venue.

WHAT TO BRING

Clothing:

  • Throughout the retreat there will be some form of movement practiced every day. It would be good to bring clothing that you feel comfortable moving in

  • A few rituals and special practices will be held during the retreat. For these rituals, you will have the opportunity to dress in specific ways. This adds to the sacredness of the ritual and helps attune the mind to the deeper symbolism of the practice. For these special events, please bring:
    1 red outfit (women)
    1 white outfit (men)
A few outfits in which you feel particularly sexy (and comfortable)

  • Pareo/sarong (1 small/1 bigger)

  • Workhop clothing:
anything comfortable where you can easily move in and sit on the floor

  • Temple clothing:
e.g. lingerie, kimono, sensual dress, kinky outfit, or any way you would like to express yourself.

  • Ritual clothing:
anything that supports you to embody your higher self! How would you like to feel and express as your full empowered & liberated self?

  • Warm clothing:
it’s always good to bring layers

  • Swim clothing:
optional, because you can swim naked as well!

Water bottle

Massage oil, if you like to be massaged. Please make sure to only bring a container with a pump (to prevent leakage).

Altar object. If you wish, you can bring an object to place on the Altar. During the retreat we will create an Altar, which may help you stay connected to the intentions you set for your journey and your life.

Others

  • Reminder to bring cash upon arrival
  • Bring any snacks if you know you like to eat between meals
  • Maybe you wish to bring your journal
  • Eye mask / earplugs for sleep
  • House shoes / warm socks
  • Instruments

This is an intoxication free event, bring a clear and curious mind, body and an open heart 🤗🙏🏻🌟

As you prepare to join us, we warmly invite you to begin the journey even before you arrive. The retreat itself will offer you clean, nourishing food, intentional movement, and spacious practices that support clarity, grounding, and inner connection.

To align with that, we encourage you to take the week before the retreat as a soft preparation period. This can mean:

  • Becoming more aware of what you eat and drink—choosing lighter, more natural and nourishing foods
  • Reducing stimulants and processed ingredients
  • Giving your body gentle movement each day—walking, stretching, breathing
  • Creating moments of silence or reflection in your daily rhythm
  • Starting to observe: how do I live, how do I treat myself, what am I consuming—on all levels?

This is not about being perfect. It’s about starting to clean the space—physically, emotionally, energetically—so that you arrive more open, grounded, and ready to receive.

HOW TO GET TO AMARA VALLEY

Amara is located in the heart of Girona, hidden in the oak forest on Rocacorba mountain.

Find us on Google Maps: https://g.page/amaravalley
(Please note – occasionally Google sends people on a bad route via Sant Gregori – make sure you come past Banyoles before coming up the mountain, and you’ll be fine!)

Closest Airports:

Girona International Airport (45min by car)

Barcelona International Airport (100min by car)

From the Airport:

From both airports, there are good public transport options to Banyoles, the nearest town to Amara.

From the airports there are buses to the city centre (Aerobus in Barcelona, L28 in Girona). From there, there are regular bus services running daily from Barcelona or Girona to Banyoles. You can find the timetables of the bus company Teisa here:

TEISA BUS WEBSITE

Barcelona – Banyoles
4 Daily bus services from Barcelona
One way trip – 16€

Note: make sure you select the “Barcelona Av. Gran Via 658” as the bus stop in Barcelona because it has more options for departure times and it is more central. The default Barcelona station on the website is “Barcelona c/Tarragona 129”, which is closer to Sants Estació, but has no departure time in the early morning.

Girona – Banyoles
Daily buses from RENFE train station
One way trip – 2,65€

From Banyoles bus station to Amara

From Banyoles, it is a short ride up the hill to the retreat centre.

We recommend contacting the following taxi driver for shuttle rides from Banyoles to Amara Valley (cost 25€ per car ride):

Santi +34 620 28 11 69 (let us know if you need help organising with him)

Rides should be booked at least 48hrs in advance
For larger taxi bookings, you can contact our preferred taxi service Autocars Solà, who have a range of vehicles available including minibuses.

For more information on how to get here, please read the FAQ of Amara Valley Venue

If you have any questions left, please email us or whatsapp us +31 650 52 20 86. We’re super excited to see you in November, it’s going to be a powerful journey!

See you soon!
